HAWKWIND “In Search Of Space” (1971)

Agrupación surgida a finales de los 60s con el guitarrista y cantante DAVE BROCK (indiscutido líder de la banda), el guitarrista MICK SLATTERY, el saxofonista, flautista y cantante NIK TURNER, el baterista TERRY OLLIS y el bajista de Jazz JOHN HARRISON.


La historia de HAWKWIND ha estado marcada por una formación muy inestable, con cerca de 40 cambios de integrantes, entre los que se encuentra, Lemmy Kilmister el cual se reunió con otro antiguo miembro y formaron Motörhead, nombre de la última canción que Lemmy había compuesto para Hawkwind.

Sin duda esta banda es un referente indiscutible de la música Britanica..
