Ultimo disco de está banda Estadounidense formada en 1985 con un sonido bastante experimental, sus origenes se sitúan en el hardcore-punk de la vieja escuela, sin embargo su dinámica es basta, desde acordes hardcore, heavy, grunge, doom, industrial hasta el ambient

En 2000 Neurosis sacó Sovereign, un EP en el que experimentó con los lados más ambient y doom de su música. La nueva faceta musical de Neurosis para los siguientes discos es un sonido siempre amenazante y dispuesto a incursionar en nuevas dinamicas y sonidos.

Neurosis ha influenciado a toda una generación de bandas bastante vanguardistas....

Banda sueca de death metal , formada en el 2000, en sus inicios integrada por  el vocalista Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), el baterista Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, etc), el guitarrista Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström (Katatonia, Diabolical Masquerade), y el bajista Jonas Renkse (Katatonia, October Tide).

El 2 de agosto de 2006, Swanö dejaría la banda porque "sus servicios ya no son requeridos" al no poder hacer giras con la banda.
